Bangkok - Day 2

We went to a lot of places today. River tour, Grand Palace, Chinatown and see ah gua show.


But before that, we had our nice buffet breakfast at the 76th floor.
And again, nice view!


Nice food! I had a healthy breakfast of eggs, ham, bacon, tomatoes, potatos, soup, salad.... etc etc etc! I simply love their vege... so damn crispy.




We booked the river tour trip thru the hotel. They diam diam want us to take floating market tour instead. Tmd.... 1/2 hr travel to and fro the market plus 45 mins of shopping there. Kns. Out to earn their commission thru our shopping!!
Heng we stick to our river tour... it was really really nice. And here's longtail boat we took..

Some of the pics we took during the tour - typical house and floating market on the river. We also saw quite a few temples along the river.



There was this point where the boat will stop and tourists can purchase bread to feed the fish. So many of them..... and man, they are big! We got splashed a few times by them. keke..

The Grand Palace.





It's the major attraction in bangkok.

All the buildings are a lot a lot a lot more beaufiful when i look at them there. I hate the weather. It was so damn hot when we were there. And we have to observe the dress code...
There were a few halls in the whole compound and all exquisitely decorated in gold.

We also went to the museum where we saw the thing used in the palace. They were all in gold! Be it plates, bowls, belts, handkerchief, etc etc.. everything has got gold on it. The amulets which they bring to war consists of various gems and gold! gez.

We never take any pics at chinatown but we had a delicious lunch there. keke
After chinatown, we returned to the hotel and rest before we head for our ah gua show!

The geisha show is the funniest!
I never expect such a small hall.. i had expected it to be so much bigger. But then, it's good lah.. coz i can see each and everyone faces clearly! kekeke...

It was a tiring day.... Went back hotel room and slept like a pig.
