New year's eve

Labbit and i went boon lay place for the countdown after lynn's bday celebration at tony's place.
It wasn't really very crowded but those people seems to be having fun with all the 'snow' spray. It seems more like a xmas countdown to me instead.
There's a pathetic foam party there too. Maybe there's only one foam machine, therefore, not much foam. Heh...
It was raining the whole day. Perhaps god want us to tone down on the parties becoz of the tidal waves disaster.

2004

It's been a year. So fast... just a blink. I feel that i have achieved nothing this year... in terms of career that is. Hmm.. here's a list of things that had happened in the yr 2004!

• i got myself a new, sweet, nice bf!


• i got a new job which i quit just before the yr ends


• i shifted to bt. gombak. yeah...finally, after waiting for a few years


• i like F.I.R and i still like SYZ


• i've seen the ugly side of human


• i've seen the sweetest side of human


• i kinda enjoy the major blackout in singapore.. coz i was out on the street...dark dark street.

Watched the Pirates of the Caribbean VCD with labbit today. Missed it while it was screening that time. Not bad a movie, plus there's a chio bu to spice it up more.. and i like the monkey. wish i can have it as a pet. :D

Merry Christmas!

Christmas eve was a simple outing with labbit to the east! And yah, the both of us headed home, sat in front of his lappie, surfing sgforums, refreshing the countdown thread... counting down to xmas. :)

Xmas's eve's eve

I woke up feeling much better today. Was coughing like mad last night and i thought i will lost my voice today.
Met jingli up for the 4 free hours of KTV. There was a point of time where i kept coughing and i almost lost my voice. Heh.. and the stupid air-con is forever so cold...
We spent the last 1/2 hr singing christmas songs like Santa claus is coming to town, white christmas, jingle bells, winter wonderland, let it snow.. etc.. to build up some christmas mood.

Met up with eenam and gang today. weesing and irene are still as humourous. It's always fun going out with them. Our topics today range from IT (as usual.... wat's new? except that today is humourous version) to australia PR to suicide to dead bodies. Gosh, the dead bodies do have some after effect on me.

Didn't really anticipate much on this outing. But it turns out to be fun anyway. :)
Total headcount should be ard 75. Was there from 1pm to 1am!

Labbit and i arrived early. The guys soon came in slowly. There are sure more male than female! And all the females seems either attached or married with kid.
kekekeke.... Poor buayas, if any.

As usual, we started the introduction. It wasn't really a smooth one coz the rain comes and goes. We had to hide in the shelter for a couple of times. DevilAngel was so busy at one time that i decided to help him with the registration. And i'm glad i did. It kept me busy the whole day!

The food was nice i must say, especially the sambal fish and the chicken chop. Wooo.... slurp! Even the hotdog seems to taste nice. Or was i just too hungry? :P
The last game ended at 930 with scavanger hunt. Those guys were really sporting! Some went home to get the stuffs, some tell their frens to send them MMS and the best part was devil's team coming back with a pool ball!! Pei fu Pei fu..

We left at about 12 plus 1.... tired... Zzzzz....
and shit. I had a bad hair day.

New marina square foodcourt

Labbit and i went to the new marina square food court today. It has a nice 'chill out' outdoor area there. It has got to be the cheapest chillout place around. heh.There's pretty good view of esplanade, one fullerton, raffles place. Here's a pic he took! :)



We rented schindler's list and for the whole of 3 hours, i dozed off so many times that i think i've only watched 1/2 hr of the show. :PAnd yah, i always happened to wake up in time to see the nude scenes. kekeke..

I went for a haircut today. I asked for a trim and not too much of layers.
In the end, she cut my hair instead and gave me lots of layers. Siao lah! I hate too much of them coz it makes my hair real messy and unmanageable. I can't imagine how i will react when i look into the mirror tomorrow morning... argh.

Went to watch Without A Paddle with labbit today. It wasn't really as funny as i expected but it was entertaining enough. 3/5 stars. Heh.

Stupid mosquito

Darn!
In my 26 years of life, this is the first time i kena a mosquito bite on my eyelid... on my eyelid??? Can't it find a better place to bite??

Indochine's Aquadisiac

Finally get to go to the Indochine's Aquadisiac at wisma atria! Well, it wasn't as good as i think. And i think i got it mixed up. The romantic restaurant should be Nude restaurant. Heh.

Labbit and i went for the Stuff Magazine (Digital Lifestyle Fashion Show) held at Aquadisiac. It states on the ticket that we will be viewing the year's hottest gadgets on the runway, lucky draw of fantastic prizes, and free flow of Tequila on the house!

My favourite tequila with 7-up... and i drank none. And it turned out that there wasn't a lucky draw at all. The host was playing games instead and the winner will walked away with the prizes. Anyway, the prizes ain't that fantastic. One 15' LCD monitor and one Digital Camera. *roll eye*
There was a performance by the band EIC, which i felt the lead singer was not bad...

Then, it came the fashion show. The models from Elite parade some of the canon printers, digital cameras, Oakley sunglass music player etc... We left about 10 minutes before the party ends. *yawn* There were 2 Stuffs magazine girls going ard the place taking pictures of the guests with their cute little polaraid camera. And here's ours!

My Birthday!

~~ it's my birthday! ~~ and daddy's birthday!~~

Since my manicurist is having this promotion of changing nail colours on mon and wed, i decided to head down b4 meeting the guys. I'm surprised that she can remember the colours which i've used b4 and introduced me a new one. Heh....My labbit surprised me by appearing at the manicure shop.... with a big penguin!! I was totally shock! Too shock for words....



We had our meal at Far East Plaza KFC before heading Thumper. Drey got me a $50 voucher from Tangs, lynn got me a pair of earrings and Kopi got me the Gigi D'Agostino CD from HMV.. And the rest of them, ang bao. :)



The Labbit Place.

Thumper's a nice chillout place. And i'm glad that they have such a big sofa seat outside which is just nice for all of us! We ordered red wine and some of the thumper cocktails. And.. hahahahaa! Estee's and Qoo's thumper came in a shot, which let most of us laughing away.

Ah peh got me a waterfall and i felt seh almost instantly. Heh... when i finally recover, xmen got me another waterfall...... .and tony's red wine. SEH. seh...... cannot recover liao. But i remembered we played mr bean, black magic and some guessing games.

Time always seems to fly when we are enjoying and soon it was time to head home.... seh.

I received an email from a client today whose interested in looking at other funds. Damn. Why do pple always come and look for me when i was abt to quit insurance? Have already made up my mind to quit earlier so that it will be easy for their year end closing. What shocked me was, jeanette is also quitting!The fact is, i've enjoyed myself this one whole yr in JH. I have learnt so much things which i've never learn b4 in pru. I have approached and talked to hundreds of people.... both sane and insane.. :D

I have wonderful colleagues and i'm really going to miss them lots. We will be there for each other when we're down, happy for one another when hit bigger sales... and i really miss the canvassing times together, esp the mos burger prawn butterfly session. Heh... We see each other almost everyday that it feels strange when one is not ard canvassing with us. We sms and call each other everyday for the Kpkb session. All these only lasted a few months b4 most of us see a downturn in this industry.I'm gonna miss JH, my colleagues and some of my loyal clients.....

Grandma

Aww.. really miss labbit. It's been a while since we last met. I'm feeling more and more comfortable hanging out with him. To think that it was one of my greatest worry b4 we got together. :)He's such a nice and thoughtful bf. Never once did i think that i will ever meet such a wonderful guy. Labbit rocks!

Yesterday's the first time i visit grandma after she came back from hospital. Man! I almost couldn't recognise her. She's bedridden and can hardly move. Her 2 filipino maids are really humourous! They sure know how to make grandma laugh. Though she can't talk now, i'm glad that she still recognise me. It really aches me to see her in such a condition.

Walking passed the playground makes me think of those days when i was young. i couldn't be happier staying with grandma during my school holidays because she will bring me to the playground every afternoon and treat me to ice cream after that. She enjoys chatting with me too coz i often makes her laugh. But of coz, as i grow older, i stop going there anymore....

Temasek poly

Someone in sgforums today digged out the TP forum. We posted quite a few topics there and it sure brings back memories. :)
TP's a very beautiful school. I enjoyed my poly days the most. Too bad it was only 3 years. If only i can retain for another 2 years? :D

I still remember the stupid censor of the toilet and the lab's light. They can't seems to sense me there. LOL. I have to walk a few steps into the toilet before the lights will be on. Others only need to open the door and the lights will be on! Grrr...

The Polar Express

Went to watch The Polar Express today. It's from a book by Chris Van Allsburg about this boy and his belief in santa. It will be nice if we watch it near xmas coz it's a bit too early now to catch the mood. hehe... Needless to say, you can hear quite a few christmas carols in the show.

What do you want for christmas?

I always love christmas. I still remember the few xmas eve at brazil churrascaria. We will have all the party packs, long island tea, bourbon, wine, champagne, food, music and fun colleagues. The restaurant closed at 11pm and we will stay for the countdown all the way till 2-3am in the morning or throughout the night! I always hope that my ex will be with me on the eves. But he chose to work and have his own countdown at the country club i guess. I figured tat it's good for me coz if not, i will miss out all the fun at brazil too.

The next 4 years ain't that great either. And when i thought i have someone who can acc me through xmas eve again, i had none. He chose to go church and catch up with his church mates since tat's the only time he goes church. I had to spend the nite with my friends. A good thing pearl brought the pictionary. We spent at least 2 xmas eve together with the rest playing pictionary. :)

I spent my last xmas eve at Mdm wong and a boring xmas day at home.
What do i want for christmas this yr?
I only want to spend it with him...

Marshmallow penguins

My newest penguin collection was the 'marshmallow' bean type which you can see them everywhere now on the street. Labbit bought me a dark pink one becoz there were only 2 left in that shop and i was afraid that we can't get it elsewhere......But while walking ard bugis junction, we found 2 more places selling them!!The light blue looks so much sweeter and innocent. And my sweet labbit bought it for me on the same day as well. *muacks*

Shutter

Felt pretty shiok after watching the movie, Shutter. It was the best horror movie i've watched this year. I've always love horror shows especially those which will leave some great scenes in my head. This movie did, plus you won't be scratching your head, trying to analyse on what the whole show's about. And, i can't seems to get the disturbing ending out of my head! Argh! Solid show!

Haven't really have the chance to catch Mamma Mia! I'm not really an Abba fan, but i do listen to most of their popular songs. Or rather, songs from the album ABBA - Gold: Greatest Hits since that's the only abba album i have. And one of which my all-time favourite.... "See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen...."

I have the habit of sleeping real early and waking up real late. Can sleep as early as 5-6am and waking up as late as 2-3pm. It happened before last year for quite a period of time too. Having my first meal of the day at 6pm and my supper at 3am. oh man! That's really unhealthy....!

Buddhism lesson

I've got a buddhism lesson today. I was told that if your skin type is fair, it means that you are someone who likes to keep things clean in your previous life. I'm fair. :)

If you are tall, it means that you are filial to your parents in your previous life.. I guess i'm consider tall? :)

And if you're pretty looking it means that you offered flowers to buddha when you prayed in your previous life. i guess i'm..........? :) :)

Estee's bday

I woke up feeling damn tired today. Must be the work in the afternoon and the celebration at nite and the long nite at labbit's place...

We celebrated estee's bday at Paragon's Spegaddies. Somehow, the limelight seems to be on beno, with us bombarding him questions regarding his lasik. I miss the pork chop there. Yes, pork chop. I never like pasta. And the caesar salad wasn't very nice. From tasteless, to sour, to bitter...yucks! Wondering if the bday girl enjoys her meal...

We next proceed to Dungeon and man! That place sucks! The only thing which is worth praising is the sofa seat which is directly facing the big TV... other than that, i dun think i will ever go back there again. Come to think of it, at least there's still at least 2 people there when we arrived. Definitely better than the first time i brought those sians pple to Illusion....... the whole illusion was ours! Sigh, already told them it was a private function specially organised for them liao and they dun believe me..... *grinz*

My own blog

Always wanted my own blog, but yet to find a decent site for that. I'm not saying xanga.com is very suitable (whoops), but it's good enough.

It's Nov! Time flies. I always feels happy for the start of every month coz i felt that a brand new month will always bring a brand new beginning to my stagnant life. But then, i will feel sad too coz it simply means i'm getting another month older.

Confused? Well, girls are contradicting creatures. Just remember that. :)
