HEH. Another movie for penguin lovers!

Penguin show, of coz nice one mah :D

A lot of easily missed quick jokes (again). The unique part is the camera crew following the main lead throughout the movie, capturing his journey to the surfing contest. I think i did understand surfing more through the movie. Hands itchy.. makes me wanna try. :P

I like the overweight penguin too. I like the 3 chicks. I like that duck too.

Science Centre

China: 7000 years of innovation
(from 26 May to 26 Aug)

Quite interesting actually. There were many areas in the hall. Each of us were given a card. We can stamp the card at each area to collect a free gift.

Some of the areas exhibit were astronomy, gunpowder, paper making, architecture, weaving, ceramics, , bronze casting, TCM, etc.

There were live demostrations of paper making, kite making, Embroidery, weaving, etc.

The one on the left is an earthquake detection. There were too many people surrounding the real thing, very hard for me to take a proper pic of it! Can only admire picture...

GrandUncle's 80th Da Shou

Seems like lotsa good food this month.

I dun even recall who he is, but i shall just follow dad. We had 3 cars of relatives all driving to bendemeer from bt batok, very afraid of losing each other. HAHA.

Met lotsa 'far' relatives. Most of them, i wouldn't even recognise them if we met on the street.

Aunt told me that my cousin knew a guy in school. They became quite close and went out often. One fine day, my cousin told him "actually, i need to attend a wedding dinner today, but i skipped it."
The guy told her the same thing.
After tallying, they found out that they were actually relatives!

And they met again tonite, sitting seperate tables, ocasionally making glances at each other. Heh. Sec sch kids nia. They should be ok.

There were about 11 tables and we occupied the whole restaurant.
Very nice food, and nice sharkfins!
Came in one big piece and the waitress cut it on the spot to distribute.

Next will be my grandfather. Another 2-3 more years to his 80th bday.

William's wedding

HEH!! nice nice photos must wait for Mr Kopi, the photographer to send us. But i think it will take some time..

Held at Secret Garden.
But there's no garden that day! Garden's spoit. so funny..

We sat down for our buffet lunch with this pretty lady sitting beside me.
Tony suddenly asked "You looked familiar. Have we met?"
Labbit and i almost puked.

I turned to look at her.............. and hey! She does look familiar!
So, i started asking if she had starred in some shows, or cheong at mdm wong..

Labbit recalled that we actually met at Music underground before.
wah lau!
William introduced her as his sister to us tat time. HAHA!
Mei siang dao, labbit's memory so good.

And that pick-up line works.
:P

We went home after the solemnisation in the evening to prepare for 2nd round at nite!

William booked 3 tables. We drank, played 5-10, enjoying the singing...
and our Mr Tony got drunk.

Labbit and i sent him home, very worried that he will puked in the car. He was VERY SEH. But hor, he can still give directions home ok!! Steady lor.
I saw him knocked out..
woke up to give direction..
and knocked out..
and woke up again..
and again...

and when we finally reached his place, JUST RIGHT OUTSIDE HIS HOUSE, he got off the car and said "Aiyoh, i will take a taxi home myself lah"

*sweat*
It shows how much he doesn't trust labbit.

Limin's wedding

The end of the 14 years long run, we finally have to give our ang bao today.

Held at Marina Mandarin...

The pretty limin in her extremely gorgeous Ted Wu's gown. *drools*
I should have got her drunk, wrapped her with the table lining.. and steal her gown.

This is the boring egg game.. but still got us laughing and laughing.

The long time no see Irene, the ugly me and the slimmer drey.

And i finally met Jiahui to pass her the belated (almost one month) bday gift. Got her a coach charm for all the penguins she bought me from HK and Aust. keke..

Next in this group will be Irene this nov..

Chongyih's wedding

This is the start of the chain of weddings i'm gonna attend these 2 months.

Held at Bugis Chong Qing steamboat.. He also never say much lah, so we just thought it's just a simple few tables dinner.

But, wah kau, still in gown, there's still wedding cake, etc.. photo album. steady lah!

Damian went out and bought a bottle of red wine. Forced him to drink half a bottle at our table. He proceed to the other table, and his frens were looking for things to sabo him. And since we still have the red wine left, we passed it to that table.
He bo bian, he ta the whole bottle within like 5 to 10 mins.
gasps!

Ok lah, he dun look so seh to us. Pearl and i insisted that we wanted the cake. He really went and cut it for us!! Haha.. nice cake!

A simple wedding, an enjoyable dinner.

On MC today. heh.
Met up with labbit at nite for Shrek..


Ok lah, not a very fantastic show. Certain parts are cute though. Think the graphics improved quite a bit.

Watch it with low expectation and it will be enjoyable.

Am i greedy or wat..

Went for my last kose facial today. Steady lor. They are so good, makes me wanna sign again! They always have great free gifts for signing up too.

Actually hor, i already made up my mind to sign another package today.
But she very de honest told me "You want to sign nxt mth? We are only giving out towels this mth"

"towel??"
i can't believe i sounded so amazed.

"ok, i'll sign next mth then"

Mayim

We celebrated papa's day in advanced too. keke.. must beat the crowd!!
Had lunch/high tea at mayim restaurant.

Their dim sum really is good lor.
But their ramen in soup erm.. dooooo.

Had a very shiok foot reflex session at JE today. Cheap and good! I'm going to divorce wan yang and frequent this one instead. Heh.

Bomb!

Finally meet hor? Want to meet also so difficult leh. Limin like so shy to give her bomb like that. hahaha.
Met up with drey, limin, eenam, aloys, zhiliang. Zhiliang lor! Long time nooooooooooooooo seeeeee. He still looked the same lah.

Had our dinner at MS cartel's. Regretted not ordering zhu chop.

Nothing much, our usual chat and limin's usual blurness. :D
