Went out with labbit today with his ex-colleague's house. Spent the afternoon there watching New Police Story (again)! but, it's a nice show.. hehehe.
We then try out the NFSU 2 with the controller. Wah, looks impressive and fun to play with.... but the steering wheel looks like a toy to me, not that real enough. And why does it seems that 1 seems better than 2?
We reached orchard around 6pm for dinner and looked for a nice spot to stand. We found the 33 firecrackers and decided to stand ard that area. Taka side was too damn crowded and we headed to the paragon side. It was only 630 when we found the spot... and damn! The waiting part is irritating. The stupid host was irritating too... There were at least 3 times of countdown to the start of chingay :
It started with 2 rows of harley parading the road. After some time, we saw harley again... and again.. and again...and again!! argh!! i want to watch something else!! Even the ang moh standing besides me was complaining "oh my god! Not again!"
The firecrackers lasted for a few secs. The stupid smoke zhun zhun head towards our direction. We had to close our eyes to prevent the debris from going in. After it ended, i can see quite few of them besides me cleaning their spectacles and shirts.
I can't believe we actually stand there from 630 all the way to 10pm. Starting was pretty boring, but it gets better and better by the night. We didn't stay for the street dance. Head back jurong for supper instead. :D
